If something isn't in the catalog yet, quick-add creates it mid-sale with a name, price and tax setting so the line doesn't hold up the customer, and you can fill in cost, SKU and bin later. Prices can be locked so employees can't discount on their own, or unlocked per your policy.

Repair payments are rarely one clean swipe. A customer leaves a $40 deposit, pays $120 in cash at pickup and puts the rest on a card. A wholesale account pays at the end of the month. A walk-in wants the phone on layaway.

If more than one person touches the drawer, you need to know which register a sale came from and who was on it. Each terminal opens a session with a counted opening balance, records its own sales under the salesperson's name, and closes with a counted closing balance.

The end-of-day report shows expected versus counted cash by denomination, so a shortage surfaces the same night instead of at month-end. Each register can also have its own card processor credentials, terminal label and customer display.
